• Will you actually watch my Film if I submit it?
  Yes! High Octane Pictures watch every movie submitted to us! How else would we know if it's a good fit?
• Do you accept film submissions with no named actors?
  Of course! Some of our favourite titles were ones where the creativity of the story was the star of the film.
• Do you only take Action, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror Films?
  While we do specialize in those genres, High Octane Pictures has released many titles outside of those and is always happy to review any title in any genre.
• Is High Octane Pictures a ‘Domestic Distributor’ or an ‘International Sales Agency’?
  Both! We have a large, in-house team whose focus is equally divided between bringing the project to Audiences directly as well as Foreign Distributors!
• If we decide to go with High Octane Pictures, how long until my film is released?
  We don't just release titles; we distribute them. Therefore, the Sales process can start about 4 months from signing while Distribution Release can take around 6-10 months from signing.
• Do High Octane Pictures cap their marketing expenses?
  We have been on the filmmakers side of many deals and we know the struggles of never seeing a dollar. Therefore, High Octane Pictures caps our marketing expenses to ensure the filmmaker receives the revenue they deserve.
• What Film Markets Does HOP Attend?
  HOP attends the American Film Market (AFM), the European Film Market (EFM), Marche de Cannes (CANNES), South by Southwest (SXSW), the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the Hong Kong Film Market (HKFM), and the Sitges International Film Festival (SITGES).
• Does High Octane Pictures know how to handle a film like mine?
  Of course! We have distributed and sold hundreds of films in our history. We have dealt with budgets as low as $5 thousand and as high as $25 million and have marketed and brought every genre imaginable into the marketplace. Every movie is different and we have the experience and knowledge to help each film reach its full potential!
• Does High Octane Pictures charge an upfront cost?
  Nope. We will never charge an upfront cost, ever. We make money from the sales and distribution success of your film, so we only make money when your film makes money.
